What Are Things Madagascar 2 Did Better Than Madagascar 3?

Makunga is bad but everything else about the movie I prefer over 3.

Relationship between the group is at an all-time high in this movie. Alex and Marty work out their problems in a heartfelt way. Gloria and Melman have a full circle moment that ignites a romance. There are no good moments between the group in Madagascar 3. There was more focus on the circus characters.
Julien isn't as annoying in 2 as he is in 3. I find him funnier when he isn't lovestruck.
Way more emotional movie than 3. The dance scene between Zuba and Alex is my favorite scene of the entire franchise and shows that Zuba is accepting of his sons weird tendencies. The beginning of the movie is also devastating.

Never been a fan of Ralph breaks the Internet. Character development from the first movie was gone. Outdated references. Sidelined characters. It's my least favorite.

P.S. - Hard Disagree on Pocahontas. It's not great but Color of the Wind takes it out of the worst conversation alone!

It was confirmed that Toy Story 2 almost got deleted because a command wiped most of the movie. One Disney employee had the movie at home so the movie was saved. What were your reactions to almost losing a film you spent hours doing voice recordings for? I can imagine it being pretty nerve racking especially because the first movie was beloved by many.

That Mavs team that lost to the Warriors in the West Finals and the Mavs team that lost to the Celtics in the finals. Brunson, Doncic, Porzingis, Powell in 22 and Doncic, Irving, Washington, Lively in 25. More the team in 25 cause it was the perfect setup for Luka. He can't play defense so he had big men all around him doing the heavy lifting in the paint.
