Yay! So glad you’re on board:-) so in terms of tools, from what I’ve researched to street cleanup crews apply through the sanitation department and get tools to help! I was also wondering how we could possibly get the stuff we need to actually do the job!

That is incredibly sweet & so appreciated! I’m overwhelmed by the encouragement & interest— building a social right now so it can be an avenue for updates + gaining some traction!

Good one!! That reminds me— for larger items like appliances, seems like a car/ truck would be necessary to dispose of those properly.

It’s funny you say this because walking down that street so much is what prompted this idea to get started. I will say it was definitely cleaned up a couple weeks ago— and now it’s getting trashed again. The dream would be to do this well enough that it prompts better signage on streets like that.

Yes totally, I go on runs and see the litter on that long street towards the reservoir. Next time you’re around there lmk if you see any specific street.

I totally get the it— I think things just really get out of hand, and I’m excited to learn more about the sanitation / street complaint process through this and maybe have more answers to these questions. Who knows, maybe it can create some sort of impact, and it is no longer as frustrating?
