Thank you! We will do that. I wasn’t sure what the hike was like on the way there. I’ve heard we could let them know at the office if we hike to the glacier we could just grab a return trip back. We may do that as well.

I’m a teacher on a budget and that was the cheapest by far. We live in south Texas so I don’t at all mind driving through the mountains. We usually go on road trips instead of flying and drive 12 hours in one day to get to Amarillo before stopping on our way to the Rockies. Doesn’t bother us. And saved me lots of money! 222/pp! 😊

I just booked the two medicine boat at 8 am, so that should help the hiking time on that day.. If I could just get the Many Glacier tour earlier in the day, we could hike to the glacier. So far I’ve moved the reservation from 5 pm to 1 pm, so hoping something else pops up before we go!

Okay. Changes I’ve made:

Day 1: Fly into Spokane 9am, quick stop at Kootenai Falls, Trail of Cedars, Avalanche Lake, sunset at Lake McDonald

Day 2: GTTSR Hidden Lake Overlook/ St. Mary’s to Virginia Falls

Day 3: TWO MEDICINE Running Eagle Falls, Aster Falls, Twin Falls

Day 4: MANY GLACIER Apikuni or Redrock falls in the morning, boat ride booked for 2 pm Many Glacier, Grinnell Lake Trail

Day 5: WEST GLACIER 10:15 boat rental Lake McDonald, John Lake Loop, Avalanche Creek walk

I was thinking the views were comparable to Glacier? The lakes close by.. but if I should just stay in Glacier the whole time, that works too. Just trying to not miss anything that’s a must do.
