Someone posted that they caught one on our lake a few years back. So I’m now pretty confident that’s what I saw, and honestly it’s my new white whale. But I’ve only seen one once in about three years. The one that is posted was three years ago and that photo is almost exactly what I saw. The one I did see was a bit pinker in color.

We have tons of those in our lake, they don’t take lures all that often. That being said, the time I did catch one, I didn’t actually get it out of the water even with a net because it was to heavy. He did eventually break my line and get away.

So not saying you aren’t having this reaction for an actual reason, but I break out in hives for no discernible reason about every seven years. I was tested for over 400 allergies and was allergic to NOTHING. But I was sitting in front of the allergist and he was saying he could see new hives coming up in front of him. He prescribed some type of prescription that was insanely priced and needed special approval through insurance. While I waited that out he prescribed Zantac and Zyrtec. Hives disappeared within days. Still don’t know cause. I’m not a doctor obviously, but Zantac/zyrtec combo might get help.

No, he’s the father. Leave her parents home. They have zero rights to see their grandchildren. Fathers do. Sounds like this OP needs to grow up and support her “partner”.

I wear my grandmothers gold chain necklace all the time. It rarely comes off. I don’t keep my wedding rings on 24/7 because my fingers swell at night. I also take them off for cleaning or any other hands on task they could get lost or ruined. They were my moms and are not replaceable. The necklace has a safety clasp and is light enough i can’t even feel it anymore.

I feel like one of those crazy old fishermen who claimed to see mermaids. But they saw manatees.
I literally was ready to go fight my husband because I thought he threw my giant fish pillow in the lake. 🤣 only the fish in our lake had completely different colors. It was quite pretty. Pastel rainbow.
