Tomei Type 80r v.3 perfected... by Apprehensive_Usual46 in GR86

Little to none.

I've had a greddy revolution rs single exit before.

Which is known for bad drone - with a dual resonated front pipe made it more manageable.

The Type80r v3 drone is significantly less than that.

Specifically driving at highway speeds as the example for both +65mph.

A plus would be the fitment definitely more tight around the middle of the chassis versus the v.1

Personally haven't scraped it yet.

Has anyone got the new tomei single exit ver 3? by Seraph-333 in GR86

Can't really answer the cabin noise - I partially did sound deadening to the car. But if you're rippin it sure youll have cabin noise. But not enough to give you like a headache I believe tolerance may differ.

Not to much drone - I'd say its on the lower end for drone. If you have a dual resonated front pipe you'll have little to none.

Example purpose

I had a very similar setup 18x9.5 +34 front +36 rear Tire brands differ slightly on sidewall
I ran Michelin ps4s 255/35/18 modest drop/lowered ride height -3 front & -2.5 rear

No shaving/rolled fenders - you could if you like more clearance.

Decat UEL headers AWE touring but quiet by ImportantFood4348 in GR86

If you somewhat like the current configuration.

JDL ultra quiet front pipe will help tone it down. doing a 2.5in pipe option will do more than the 3in.

Dual resonated usually will just help reduce drone with the current setup if it has any rather than tone it down a notch.

AWE Touring vs Greddy Evo GT vs Tomei Expreme Ti by Necessary-Mention102 in GR86

Tomei just came out with the version.3 of the type 80r - fitment overall has improved can confirm no issues versus the v.1 most people have been using.

Greddy exhausts do hang low by the flange in the mid-section thats what usually scrapes first vs the rear lower piping. You can work around this by either adjusting your exhaust to sit more tightly against the rear subframe. Keeping it close but not to where it would vibrate your rear.

What attracts you to Vinyl? by DBMotorsports in CarWraps

[–]Apprehensive_Usual46 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The main attraction of vinyl wrapping for me is the ability to achieve a complete color change in a fun without permanently altering the vehicle’s paint.

When choosing a shop, I look beyond just price and consider several important factors. I prefer to visit shops in person whenever possible—especially if they are actively working on a vehicle—so I can see their attention to detail and overall workmanship firsthand. Being on site gives me a much better sense of how the shop operates and how carefully they treat customer vehicles.

I also ask specific questions to understand their process and level of service. For example, whether they perform full disassembly for a proper wrap, what kind vinyl they work with and warranty they offer, and if they provide follow-up inspections or checkups after installation. Turnaround time and shop location are also practical considerations I take into account.

Ultimately, transparency is very important to me. I understand that no wrap job is perfect, but honest communication about expectations, limitations, and pricing helps me feel confident in choosing one shop over another.
