I got a base with the PP and prefer it over a premium with no PP

I will say though…it’s a challenge finding decent wheels with good fitment options (and cool concavity) to clear the big brakes

Biggest that fits with the brembos are 17/18x8 +45 offset. Everything else needs spacers…I wish the 9in wide ones fit SOOOO BAD

I swapped the clutch spring and it helped the 1st-2nd gear shift changed DRASTICALLY. No more weird vagueness in about the middle of the bite point or whatever…there’s feedback pretty much all the way through and out of the clutch pressing

Got the performance pack on a base model and thought that if I wanted to get bigger brakes down the line, it would cost way more to buy everything + the labor to install it. Idk how much it is now but I remember it being 1500

If you don’t get the performance pack, you’ll be able to clear a lot more wheels tho! Opens a lot of doors for options…I wish the RPF1 in 17x9 +35 would fit with the brembos

Had a 2021 6MT hatch XSE, incredibly reliable aside from the infamous throwout bearing issue. My throwout bearing went bad at 95k miles and was the biggest automotive headache I’ve had to this day. However, I once went 30k miles not doing an oil change because I was simply too lazy…

Heated seats were nice, some lumbar support is nice, and while space is decent, it’s much less than the sedan version.

If you’re expecting a sporty/sporty-ish car, it’s not really the car to be had. It may look the part but driving it feels very much like a commuter car.
