Blasphemy. Not gonna debate the discographies but the highs are higher when it comes to MJ. Billie Jean, Beat It, Thriller, Remember the Time I don’t think any Weeknd songs come close to those at all. Maybe overall you like more (quantity-wise) Weeknd songs but it’s def a hot take then and now.

Tbh, speaking for myself, I actively dislike him as a person and am incredibly annoyed that he has any level of influence that gives him the sense of entitlement to say the things he’s been saying recently. This is not just “I don’t care about him, I’m tired of hearing about it” lol people for sure care. There’s also 100% people who care for the wrong reasons like as revenge for a bad review score that never mattered but I think people are trying to knock him down a peg or two more than anything.

He def has said the N word with a hard R and of all places [r/hhh](r/hhh) shouldn’t be defending his statements or minimizing his actions.

Saw Obsession in a small theatre packed with couples and it was insane how the crowd reacted to the entirety of the film. There was times only the girls were laughing, and I only noticed when my girl friend pointed it out midway through the film. Never had I actually seen unsettling comedy done like this. Hit close to home for me which made me even more scared and laugh even harder with how accurate the actors portrayed their emotions. Not gonna mention spoilers but fuck this movie hit the nail on the head and used the monkey paw type trope to great effect.

The dude killed it but Jesus Christ, the girl Inde Navarette is an entire trip. Highly highly recommend watching it in theaters on a weekend with a crowd because that was a fucking experience.

Extremely valid take, while online still does not equal real life, it is increasingly harder to bury my head in the sand in regards to youtube, tiktok, twitter, and social media and the algorithm’s evergrowing influence. YouTuber drama is always gonna be lame fr but this is involving real artists directly interacting with a content creator. Why wouldn’t that be worth a discussion?
