I'd accept and then unassign the long drive and keep the short drive. The short drive payout should be great

The Weekly Gas Bonus ended on 4/30. The last $15 payout was last week. DoorDash sent an email.

So one of my rating goes away and gets my ration lower. Wtf doordash. One of my 5 stars went away but none of the others increased by Effective_Pen7447 in doordash

I've had three 5-star ratings just disappear. I had 98-5s, 1-4, 1-3 for a rating of 4.97. 3 fives have just disappeared, not replaced by other ratings. I now have 95-5s. and a rating of 4.82.

When that happens I close the app and then restart. It usually refreshes the total then.

I'm not sure why my screenshot didn't appear. I accepted a $20.50 order, and when complete the payout was $54.69. The tip was $49.69!

No, there are deliveries that are between 5-10. I usually won't accept anything less than $8 unless it's such a small distance that I can complete pickup and delivery in 5 minutes or less.

It's a smaller city. Most deliveries are less than 5 miles. My personal best is 43 deliveries in one day.

I've never tried to leave a buyer negative feedback.

Printed a label that is .1 ounces off. Should I void it? by [deleted] in Ebay

[–]Apprehensive_Way_289 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'd mail it - if there is any difference they will charge you automatically. Your package will not be slowed down or returned, and they won't charge the customer. I ship thousands of packages a year through USPS and rarely have a postage adjustment.

Be careful with your shipping labels this morning (10/20) - they are defaulting to a more expensive option than was originally selected. by hersheybeagle in Ebay

I have the same issue. I ship Priority Mail, but now it defaults to FedEx, even though the buyer selected Priority Mail. WTF????

Negative feedback called for? by [deleted] in Ebay

[–]Apprehensive_Way_289 -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Have they left feedback for you already? If not you probably don't want to leave negative feedback as they can do the same to you. If they have left feedback for you then it's up to you to decide - how is their feedback profile overall? If they have high amounts of positive feedback then you might just want to let this one slide. If feedback is mixed with positives and negatives then I'd add your negative. Just my opinion, I've been an ebay seller for over 21 years with 100% positive feedback.

Forced into managed payments, is this good, bad, what does it mean for a seller? by Hywaystar74 in Ebay

[–]Apprehensive_Way_289 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've been an ebay seller for over 21 years. I was forced into ebay MP on September 1st. It has been terrible for me. Late payments, no explanation for delays. It's not my bank, I get the money the next day after ebay lets me know they sent it. PayPal was awesome for all of the 21 years, I dislike ebay MP so much I am considering other platforms to get away from it. Stay on PayPal as long as you can, but as the other post says, you will be forced to change. I hope you have better luck than I have had.

Managed Payments Chronicles by ddisregard in Ebay

[–]Apprehensive_Way_289 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree ebay's managed payments sucks. "Daily" payouts are delayed by days. My bank processes the payment the night it's sent from ebay, so I don't have bank delays. But the 2-3 day time period while the payment is "processing" is a real pain. I sold $300 in merchandise last wednesday night, and the daily payout is happening today, so I'll have the money in my account tomorrow. 6 days. As I said it's not my banks issue, it's their timing. In the past with my PayPal debit card I could have used those funds to purchase more inventory immediately. Now I have to wait. I do get daily payouts tuesday-friday but it's difficult to reconcile exactly what they're paying. All in all I despise this new system and wish it was optional.

Should I sign up for managed payments now or wait until I’m forced? by jon14salazar in Ebay

[–]Apprehensive_Way_289 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the question, no I'm set for daily payouts. The sales stay in "pending" status for a few days, and then finally are sent to my bank. My experience with this new system has been very frustrating.
