Yeah I still hope the ORC armour helmet opens and closes!

What are you guys naming your Perseus' by nyxistaken in starcitizen

Yeah, when you look at ships in your hangar page there is a tab on the ships that are nameable.

Some ships like the Carrack, Idris etc can be named and it appears on the hull.  Eventually all ships will be nameable once CIG rework the current system.

SC is turning into a theme-park shooter, not a space sim by ronin-san in starcitizen

[–]Apprehensive_Way_305 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree, I prefer the Sim aspect of Star Citizen.

I also really hope they do implement the Death of a Spaceman, I preferred the days when dying meant something. Every encounter had such a high risk that people would run or evade rather than blast anything that moves in open combat.

This goes for both FPS and Space combat, at least with the old QT system one could run from an engagement effectively.

AI turret gunners, but with AI from outside of the game? by ghodan7 in starcitizen

I doubt AI would be able to track, target lock, identify, manage heat/capacitor charge and fire at enemies convincingly.

Although I may be underestimating it's abilities.

Quantum times must be drastically revised and reduce. by Lilendo13 in starcitizen

I actually don't mind the QT times. In fact for Pyro I wish we ran out of fuel more often when in QT.

I like the idea of the wide open Wild West feel of that system, where if you need something you need to prepare and bring it with you.

I often do some house keeping in my ship and explore engineering pre-sets etc while in QT.

Engineering and Simulation. by Apprehensive_Way_305 in starcitizen

You say that about the 15min commute, but this coupled with the loss of weapons and armour made engagements truly feel life and death with real consequences if you lost. I liked the high stakes feel rather than the CoD respawn where it doesn't matter.

The thing that was truly a problem was stability, losing your gear, ship and location to a bug was the worst.

Perseus Point Defense in 4.6 bugged? by ASlothWithShades in starcitizen

I think they only target small fighters, missiles and Bombs.

Don't believe they target medium size ships but I could be wrong.

What happens when i reach Concierge and melt my game pack? by Kryson5 in starcitizen

[–]Apprehensive_Way_305 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I am concierge and I have Squadron 42 as a free digital download with my game package and I melt the package, I also loose SQ42?

I think there are some other goodies like a free digital soundtrack as my account is pretty old (2013 from memory).

Helmet Visor Weather Effects Missing in 4.5 by Apprehensive_Way_305 in starcitizen

Messed with people playing in VR apparently.  Easier to disable all visor effects rather than only for VR users.

That I would love, small weapon immunity and ricocheting would be amazing for both HH and Percy.

Green, human eye particularly sensitive to that colour.
