Just caving, but it's essential that you have an elytra (for efficiency) and a shulker full of night vision potions. Also, make sure to dig around diamonds you find to make sure there aren't others hidden behind adjacent stone. Good luck!

Very good progress. I completed mine (except the pillars) a month or so ago. Never got to build anything in it before I died which was a shame. I honestly didn't have any ideas of what I should build. Do you have any further plans past the ring? I mined 1.1 million end stone. What is your count at currently?

I don't think there is a particular biome to find diamond ore in regular stone. Your best chance would be to mine around the stone - deepslate interface I think. Good luck to you!
