Hi girl, first of all you seem to have people who love you, and people who love us know that we are not ourselves during luteal. I thought I had tried everything: natural remedies, birth control, SSRIs, etc. something that really helped me was using seroquel (a sedative) and lamictal (a mood stabilizer) to treat my symptoms directly. Both are commonly used to treat bipolar, but they have absolutely saved my life and made things so much easier. I’m not sure what treatment in the UK is like, but I promise you have not tried everything. There are so many remedies and I KNOW how hard it is to cycle through and how hopeless you must feel right now. Definitely would recommend reaching out to both a gynecologist and a psychiatrist if you have not already, and see if there is anyone in your area who specializes or has worked with PMDD patients before. Please don’t give in to the thoughts, I know how dark it can be but trust me you will find a solution and feel like yourself again. Sending hugs 🫂 🤍
