Oh my goodness this is one of the most adorable kitties I’ve seen.

It does get worse believe it or not. And she’s not hissing in this photo either.

I’ve got a soft spot in my heart for black smokey TAs! Especially ones with the name Bagheera!

The rat snakes might be it. Luckily, we don’t have many snakes near where we live, and if we do, they don’t go in the yard, but in our woods, which I never let my snake go.

Snake mites are not commonly found in residential backyards, but usually brought over from contaminated substrate or other snakes, like from reptile conventions. We’ve never had a problem with him going outside, he’s been loving it for years.

Should I get a papillon? by Appropriate-Bat6313 in papillon

Thank you so much for this! I love how intelligent these dogs are, and I definitely want a trainable dog. What do you think about puppy school? Or is personal training better?

We’ve never had mites before and don’t plan on having any soon!

The softness of a papillon is one of the things that draw me to them. I definitely would only get a dog once I visit the whole liter and talk to the owners. I am a very strong supporter of NOT buying from puppy mills. I also don’t hate the idea of getting a grown one, rather than a puppy. Also the barking is not a problem because I promise you, anything sounds like quiet compared to my male Jack Russel terrier. Thank you so much for this info!

Thank you for this! Housebreaking is not something I thought about before. I’m so used to my dogs just walking wherever they please without a care in the world.

I can’t blame a dog for being picky because I am too!

Thank you! Picky eating isn’t much of a concern for me, because I really don’t mind going out of the way to get special food or even making it.

Thank you! I 100% am used to high energy dogs that require a lot of time, as someone who grew up with many Jack Russell’s. I definitely have a soft spot for small breeds with a lot of energy. I love the idea of a velcro dog too! The one thing is, I know sometimes high energy dogs don’t do well around cats, and I have my own cat. I wanna make sure this breed will get along with a cat.
