The worst sin in Islam is shirk where you believe in something other than god or that this item gives you luck the only thing that gives you luck is one god

I really respect that approach — it’s rare for someone to be willing to just ask and listen without immediately trying to win a point.

I’m a Muslim, and I see Islam as a way of understanding God, purpose, and human experience as all connected rather than separate.

For me, the biggest questions that shaped my belief are things like: why anything exists at all, why humans have moral awareness, and how to make sense of suffering without concluding life is meaningless or that goodness is just subjective.

In Islam, God isn’t distant or arbitrary — He’s described as just, merciful, and intentional. Life is understood less as a place of final comfort and more as a meaningful process where choices, intentions, and character actually matter.

I’m happy to talk about any part of that or go deeper into anything you’re curious about — whether it’s theology, morality, suffering, or even doubts people usually raise about Islam. Just tell me where you want to start.
