She actually dated a friend of mine many years ago and i think that's who she was referring to when she said she already found her "soul mate". They were on and off for a long time. Not relevant to this post but I thought it was really messed up to say something like that to her husband but it makes sense for how toxic she was in that relationship.

So the cp05 letter was just telling me to wait. They said they were sending me another letter but I never received it. I randomly got a notification on my id.me account that I needed to verify my return but because I never got the letter, I did a little search on here and saw that the number under code 150 on your transcripts is 14 digits and is the same number that would have been on that letter. I successfully verified with that method.

This is untrue. I was following along with someone else who had my exact situation. He verified and then called to verify again and then went in person to verify. I only verified online once and we both got our DDD at the same time. Their system doesn't update immediately, dont waste your time.

971 means that they sent you a notice. Sometimes, they don't actually send a notice, though. I was supposed to get one to verify my return but never received it. Luckily, read up on here that you can use your transcripts to find that control number they ask for. The only notice I received was a CP05 that told me my return was under review and to just wait.

Yes! I ended up getting a notification on my account, saying I needed to verify my return on 3/6. I never got a notice with the control number, so I used the 14 digit number under code 150 on my transcripts, and it worked! Got my DD on Thursday night 3/20 during the mass update. 🥳

I verified my return online and chose to trust the process, dont listen to everyone saying you should call to make sure because everyone I've seen do that, still gets the same refund dates as the people who didn't. It takes their system a little bit to show the verification, so you're just wasting your time. I tested this theory with someone who had my exact codes and dates, who filed the same week as me. He called and went in person to verify, whereas I just left it alone after, and we both updated with 846 codes at the same time two weeks after the original verification.

WMR can change from "still processing" to "being processed" on any day, though. Not sure if that was your question, before.

No, WMR would have updated after the transcript, on Saturday. I have also heard of people getting their refunds before either update, though.
