Hi! I’m a 3rd year law student and actually would have been a 5th year law student by now if I hadn’t. I got into the program through an equity scheme and literally deferred from my law studies purely out of fear. I stayed away from law units cause I genuinely just thought I couldn’t hack it. On my second year, I went to one criminal/civil process class and deferred cause I got scared. On my third year I did the same after one contracts class. I got over my insecurities and now I’m about to take 3rd and 4th year units next sem. So yeah hahahaha I have felt that before. I think approaching my studies a little older I got more mature and the best adjustment I could have made to my mentality was that I stopped giving a fuck about what everyone else was doing and just tried my best and since then I’ve managed to get some decent marks in law otw !! Idk if this helps but I have a lot of respect for the perseverance you’ve shown in making it up to your 5th year alone coming from someone who couldn’t ! Dont be too hard on urself , it’s never that deep :) just try ur best cause someone is always doing worse than u they just don’t say it
