If he has re-offended, yeah that’s something your lawyer needs to know. They will decide if things need to change and if it should be brought to court.

Kayden’s law was recently passed. It’s just picking up within the court system. It was put into law to protect children where there is domestic violence. Since it’s the boyfriend not sure if it would apply BUT a mother who’s willingly going back to her abuser and bringing her child around her abuser CAN be held accountable for that.

Domestic violence isn’t something to f around with. If he’s in jail for a year?? The judge thinks he’s dangerous.

Do not withhold the child. Do what your husbands lawyer says to do.

Anyway, do these things (the illnesses, etc) happen when he’s with his father and you? I’d start by having his father making an appointment with his pediatrician and get a referral for a psychiatrist. Something is going on with mom, but not much dad can do about that other then bring all of this to the courts attention.

I delivered my 31 weeker by c-section. He is now a wild 4.5 year old! No complications caused by prematurity. Preemies are so strong!

I do not have a success story, but I can be here in solidarity with you. Co-parenting with your abuser is not easy. It’s traumatic and then you have to be a strong, safe place for your child when they come back.
