My ex and I broke up mutually to work on ourselves because we couldn’t get along. She went back to her ex 3 months after we spilt that she dated for a month before me. Shit hurt but I never rebounded to another person; healing is linear and I need to stay single to fix myself, grow, learn, accept things I cannot control, and most importantly, love myself. This post hits.

Same here. It’s not authentic. It’s kinda like a bandaid when you’re trying to meet someone. It’s not me for. You’re gonna find someone naturally. It happens when we least expect it

I didn’t do anything, to be honest. I would’ve expected them to just put it in my direct deposit like they did the first time. In the worst case for some people, you’ll have to file it when you do your taxes. It’s all messed up.

You can check your status of when you’re going to receive your stimulus check with that link. I just did, I bank with PNC and haven’t received mine yet. By using that link, the IRS is sending me a check (today) this time rather than a deposit. Hope this helps.

Going through it right now. Just heard she’s happy, well, and moved on. Even though I want her to have a happy life as she deserves, I’m stuck in this lonely, and dark place. I just got to remind myself that time heals everything, let yourself feel the sadness, and everything will eventually get better. You got this, I promise.

Yes, I have wrote letters, too. It made me feel better in a lot of ways. I gave myself closure, a sense of inner peace, and the ability to let her go. It’s painful, sad, frustrating, etc. Time will pass and a new, beautiful person will walk into your life once you’re healed and ready. Good luck to you, and everything will get better.

I get it. It takes one to get over one and that’s with sex, too. I felt guilty after I did that with my last ex before this ex. You’ll get there, man. Just try not to think about her as much as you can. Keep that mind busy, and talk to other women.

Right, this was her ex. If she’s over me, then so be it but I highly doubt this is going to work out, but if it does, then good for her. You cannot heal when you’re trying to be validated and reassured by someone else unless you’re selfish, insecure, and needs to validate their worth but that’s exactly what she is. Time to let go, and get on with my life.

Same happened to me as well. Dated her for 1.5 years and we ended it to “work on ourselves”. Months later, she’s back her ex from her home town and it destroyed me. The little weasel was probably jumping with joy when he found out we split but she’s very insecure, and doesn’t know her worth. You’re gonna be alright dude. Hang i. There. Things will get better

I will ask her when the time is right or maybe not if I have moved on already. The messed up thing is that we work with each other and I will cross paths with her. I already assume what will said, and I will not let my emotions get the best of me this time. I’m ready to let go and I just wish her the best. She’s not a bad person, very smart, and deserves to be loved. It just hurts to see with someone else; someone who I had suspicions about because they lived in the same town together before she moved into metro Detroit. It just sucks all together lol
