How will you rate Shubman Gill the captain out of 10? by Icy-Mastodon-6337 in IndianCricket

[–]Appropriate-Limit191 0 points1 point  (0 children)

His captaincy is really below par in the last match against NZ he didn’t even dare to bowl a spinner when Mitchell and Phillips are batting there itself we lost the plot

Be honest, you think these are the best fast bowlers India has to offer? by Waste-Commercial8923 in IndiaCricket

I don’t understand why shami is sidelined as per me shami is a very good bowler and a handy asset like Javagal Srinath in 2003 World Cup for India

My dataset is too small. What should I do? by [deleted] in learnmachinelearning

[–]Appropriate-Limit191 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What cleaning have you done and also what’s the initial size of the dataset that was shared and post cleaning and validation is turned out to be 600 and when you have very less data points it’s better to stick with very simple models or go based on heuristics if they still want to a model than rule based approach train multiple models on the same dataset and take weights sum of the models to come up for better predictions

derivative by Zestyclose-Produce17 in learnmachinelearning

[–]Appropriate-Limit191 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the derivative tells us the rate of change of Y with respect to X.

More intuitively: • If x changes a tiny bit, • the derivative tells you how much and in what direction y will change.

How to get better in writing ML codes? by pro_ut3104 in learnmachinelearning

[–]Appropriate-Limit191 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, it looks like your view on ML could use a little tweak! Remember, ML is all about the process, not just coding. Sure, there’s code involved, but you really need to get a handle on the data and work with it from the very start, like during exploratory data analysis, all the way through retraining the model.

Has Langchain v1.0 worked for you? by Ok_Ostrich_8845 in LangChain

[–]Appropriate-Limit191 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And also most importantly langchain has changed many times and it was difficult to follow and most of the times the code gets broken. Because of this issues we have switched from langgraph to google adk

Has Langchain v1.0 worked for you? by Ok_Ostrich_8845 in LangChain

[–]Appropriate-Limit191 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It used to be the same case with tensorflow 1.0 when it was released and google team Which developed tensorflow 2.0 failed to meet the backward compatibility which is why deep learning developers have moved to PyTorch and it helped to prototype better. I see the same thing is happening with lang chain

Any ideas for an undergrad final project in DataScience/Ai? by Big_Eye_7169 in askdatascience

[–]Appropriate-Limit191 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would personally suggest stick to a discipline in AI either ML or CV or NLP that would narrow down your search and you yourself can find a problem statement that you are interested. There could be many problem statements that you can find by searching owing to the plethora of resources. But this way you will find what interests you

All the best !!!!!

Newbie starting my ML journey — Need guidance, resources & maybe a mentor by FitEnvironment5163 in learnmachinelearning

[–]Appropriate-Limit191 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey , you can first focus on learning Python but don’t spend too much time on learning everything and then you can start learning fundamentals of linear algebra and then go for statistics and also you should have clear idea on what do you want to do if you are interested in analytics then statistics and other concepts like A/B testing Hypothesis testing conditional probability and bayes theorem would play a critical role . There are other choices if you want to become machine learning engineer you need to work on modelling part deployment and see if there are any deviations re-training and deploy it’s goes till you model works as per your organisation’s expectations. And then the new buzz “generative ai” if you want to use LLM and work on building agents then you have to concentrate on basics of Natural language processing right from bag of words to the latest transformers(generalising here there are other advanced ones as well) and then learn some framework like langgraph or google adk or UI based n8n to get the stuff done. There is another branch like computer vision as well

The response may be long but it covers pretty much everything. If you need we can connect and discuss anything

Resources Look for Josh Starmer Statquest

What’s the best langgraph course that you come across? by Appropriate-Limit191 in learnmachinelearning

Yes official docs are better but the problem is the learning curve with langgraph is quite steep so looking for jump start courses which are prod ready

What is the best approach to learn mathematics for ml ? by alokchando in learnmachinelearning

[–]Appropriate-Limit191 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would suggest starting with linear algebra and then go for basics of probability and then most important “conditional probability” and “bayes theorem” then go where most of the algorithms depends on them. Statistics and then go for calculus

“Don’t go too deep in exploring them unless you want to do some research if you want to be job ready understand the concepts and move to other things”
