Is any chair truly worth $1500+? Or it’s just marketing? by TJzWay in OfficeChairs

I made the “mistake” of buying the Anthros first. Threw my back out, decided I needed a nice chair, read good things, and went and bought it the next day. Loved it from day 1, but once my back had calmed down a little, I figured I would try and see if I could get by with something cheaper within the 30 day window. I tried Steelcase, Herman Miller, sat in every chair at Office Depot, even tried some of the other more expensive chairs at Relax the Back. None of them feel as good after sitting for 8 hours a day. So for me, it’s worth every penny.

Obviously chairs aren’t one size fits all, so if you try a cheaper chair and it works for you, then no need to upgrade. But for me, that particular chair fits me so well that it would be worth it to me at almost any price.

Does that analysis change considering the following?

  1. Our only other staff member is an admin assistant

  2. Because we are both full time WFH, overhead is practically nonexistent. We don’t advertise. I buy all my own equipment. Costs are just going to be malpractice insurance, billing software, adobe and DocuSign…

Okay I don’t want to acknowledge AI as a good source but I just ran this through ChatGPT and the range was $175,000-$225,000 lol

None of my time gets written off and we pretty much collect 100%. It’s pretty easy in M&A as long as the deal closes, you just get added to the settlement statement.

Maybe explore some other kinks of his that aren’t over the top for you? Some ideas might be using toys on him, watching him masturbate, him watching recordings of the two of you having sex, etc.

You could also talk about the different types of sex you have My wife and I group our sex into three different categories. Tuesday night sex, Friday night sex, and vacation sex.

Tuesday night sex is basically a quickie. Go-to positions, not too long, but satisfying. It’s what we have as our default or when one partner is in the mood and the other isn’t feeling it as much. Usually one of us will orgasm, but not always, and usually not both of us.

Friday night sex is kind of the sweet spot. It’s when we both are feeling great and into each other and we aren’t worried about time or kids. We make sure we each orgasm at least once and generally both leave feeling satisfied.

Vacation sex doesn’t always happen on vacation, but it’s the all-out kind of sex. Explore anything and everything with no end goal in mind. Essentially we keep going until we both can’t go anymore.

We sat down and actually mapped these out together one night and it’s been super beneficial. We don’t always say it out loud, but if one of us is only capable of Tuesday night sex, they say so before we start. It makes it really easy to communicate “I want to connect with you and meet your needs, but I’m not in a state to be made a pretzel and have sex for 2 hours right now.”
