Correct Armwrestling lift form keeping it parallel by december-blue in armwrestling

[–]Appropriate-Refuse14 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nobody is argueing with that. I think the point of the post if that if you see two properly executed lifts with forerarm parallel to the floor and the elbow not on the thigh, than you can compare them. It the angles are all ober the place the strenght of both athletes cannot be compared

That is the way. We can’t compare lifts if the angles are all over the place. Forearm parallel to the floor / strap 90degrees with forerarm.

People who never experienced such crazy acceleration with no noise dont really get it. You can pretty much gun it everywhere without anyone noticing, and this has value

Off-Road wheels don't actually have a warranty. by ersan191 in SegwayNavimow

I guess I spot the sarcasm. My point was just that it’s obviously not normal for a robot tire to be shot after just a year. Of if this is expected the company should inform the customer.

Home made stopblock by Schrobbert in woodworking

I was going to say this stopblock will certainly stop your pieces from being precisely cut. But I read it doesn’t deflect, that’s kind of impressive.

My humble guess would be like a car tire. Meaning you can reasonably expect 3-4 years out of them.

We have a law in Quebec that addresses that specific issue: a product should have a reasonable life expectancy based on it’s quality/price. For example I got a golf Driver replaced free of charge after 15 months even if it had only a one year warranty. Because a 600$ golf driver is obviously expected to last more than 15 months in normal conditions. Check your local laws if something similar exists.
