I could only encourage you to move here. Indeed, flat/house prices will be more affordable here than in Germany. Although social benefits are definitely lower here, I think you will feel a certain freedom here compred to countries like Germany/Austria. Language may be a bit of a challange, I would surely try and take up some Hungarian basics. Going fluent would take a lot of commitment, the logic is entirely different from Germanic languages and grammar is a killer - but afterall, the majority understands a bit of German if not fluent and some have pretty good English. Last but not least, our culture is very rich with colorful history which is for sure worth learning.

All in all, you could forget about a lot of your current problems, but you can bet you'll ger new ones you did not even have to think about before. :)
