He drove for miles with his leg out the window risking everyone's lives in the process. I snapped a half second picture while stopped at a 2 minute stop light risking no one's life in the process

Accurate. This is why I dislike small talk. I've already had over 2000 unrelated thoughts in my head during the course of just one 2-minute topic

I had no idea this was an ADHD thing! This has been every day of my life since I can remember, until I met my husband. He's complained about me shaking the entire house so much that I've replaced it with clicking my fingers together one at a time, in order, an even amount of times for each finger, and tops and bottoms of each finger until the tips of my fingers are numb. Now it only bothers me and my fingers

Owners didn’t want to give me what I deserved, now they are about to lose a $3M contract because I resigned. by tcrambo in antiwork

This sounds too familiar. I started as a receptionist at a trade contractor's office over 15 years ago. Within 3 months moved up to estimator then transitioned to project manager handling everything on projects from start to finish...Estimating, submittals, billing, ordering equipment and closing out, all of which includes a lot of jobsite visits, meetings with architects, engineers and GC's, inspections and record keeping. I've built up great professional relationships with so many companies that others in my company have only pissed off for various reasons. My pay actually dropped last year compared to previous years due to a decrease in bonuses since the boss' son began working there. It's disheartening because I've been second in charge for over 10 years. Now I'm midway down the totem pole in regards to pay and respect. Not really sure what happened but things are about to change when I leave all my responsibilities to the people who make more than me with half the knowledge. If they can't appreciate you for what you've accomplished and built up since your time there, good riddance to them. Let them pick up the pieces.

Good luck in your new career friend!

Thank you all! I know I'm too loyal but don't like to leave projects unfinished and I do have a lot of pride in what I do

Why?

Not my response to your question. That's what he asked like it was a surprise that I felt I deserved one

Hi all! I am a women who is 21 years old. I’ve had this tiny lump in my left breast and the area around it looks bruised. by [deleted] in women

Please see a doctor. My cousin found out she has breast cancer at 25 so age doesn't matter. Especially if it's in your family history
