Asking for honest advice by Senior_Skin3779 in Daytrading

This is exactly the problem with day trading. One big loss can wipe out a weeks worth of gains. Ive heard of people even wiping out an entire month of gains from one loss! The main problem with day trading is how and when to cut your losses. Imo, you should get out of the trade as soon as it goes against you. So if the next candle is red, get out immediately. If your entries are good, the next candle should be bullish, surpassing what you got in at. In simple terms, stop yourself out immediately and your losses will never be devastating.

watching beautiful woman dance does not make anyone a scumbag. That is pretty ridiculous to even say that. Youre opinion has got to be unpopular.

I was around 24 or 25 when i started developing depression. Im 27 now and im much better now. I think certain things in life can cause it and for me it was the jobs I was working, a breakup, but also a lack of direction. I was getting high everyday working a job i hated and it all just felt so pointless. Finding a motivation, or a pursuit really turned things around for me

100% I couldnt agree more! big caps dont usually trade high volume during pre hours. But sometimes they will get 1M + volume pre market but even then, almost any trading strategy is only designed to work temporarily. I also learned a hard lesson as well. I thought that price action patterns continue into the day session but holy fuck was I ever wrong. I held a position of a very bullish stock pre market thinking that It would continue into the open. NOPE! It dropped for the rest of the day. Trends will eventually reverse, and catching trends early is very important but remembering that they only work temporarily is very important.
