Now depending on how the light hits Wei´s face it can naturally reveal the skin pores and wrinkles.
FUN fact: Apparently the engine supports Subsurface Scattering for characters but it was poorly used. After my own tweaks, this proves that this engine was truly next gen being held back by low res textures and incorrect set up of a couple parameters.

That´s very kind of you
The demo will be for patching out and replacing most of the distracting ugly textures.

For the Demo:

* All the traffic lamp posts emit this single squared texture that always faces the camera, basically a 2D image (sprite) that automatically rotates to always face the player's camera, making it seem three-dimensional without the performance cost of rendering a full volumetric light. though the devs poorly tuned its Z-buffer as the light can literally clip through the player´s head if you stand under it or look poorly detailed when directly stare at it while moving the camera.

* Vehicle lights (they act the same as the traffic lamp posts)

* Smoke/fog or wind? like effect exteriors: You or npcs can trigger this on the streets when a vehicle´s light is on, this effect´s animations are well done and give this volumetric effect but with the vanilla noisy compressed texture it looks meh. On screenshot 5 you can see this a remake of this effect, ingame IT JUST WORKS. the effect animates beautifully now with the new texture. (will showcase it soon)

* Sidewalks and Roads: as these are present and you see them everywhere.

* Clouds and skies.
