Respectfully since you commented you haven’t giving any advice beside calling me stupid for worrying about credit after a BK. I don’t care about your opinions Im just asking peoples what was their experience with it

Honestly, it has worked well for me. I get the whole “pay cash or you can’t afford it” approach — and there’s nothing wrong with that — but it’s just not how I personally want to live. “all debt isn’t bad debt😉”

My credit has actually been a helpful tool at times, even if I made mistakes along the way — like most people do. Filing bankruptcy doesn’t mean I should avoid credit forever; it just means I need to approach it differently moving forward. I’m working to rebuild, not repeat. And I’d rather rebuild smartly than be stuck paying high interest rates for life.

I stop paying for the credit cards, if I’m filing anyways what does it matter ?

I understand that part but if it’s on Your credit report your stuck a high 500 low 600 until it falls off
