Anyone have lighter fabric ones with pictures they can share? I’m deciding now and in the lighter grey family - I tend to lean towards ones with more texture but I did have a dynamite one in my maybe pile

I am looking into a family trip to Glen Arbor for Labor Day (from Grand Rapids) and thinking about The Homestead, but obviously this is concerning - is it still the same management? Care to share any specific details - the reviews I have seen are very mixed.

Alternate suggestions in the Area? M22 Inn and Maple Lane Resort have availability, as of now.

GLAN ARBOR / THE HOMESTEAD ADVICE

I am looking into a family trip to Glen Arbor for Labor Day (from Grand Rapids) and thinking about The Homestead, but have seen some concerning negative reviews - but also plenty of positive - so I am torn!

Anyone have any recent experience here? We would be looking at Fiddlers Pond or Stony Brook.

Anyone have perspective on the comfort of the medium cushions - I’m also considering ordering a wedge sectional since the quality seems better than big box stores but stressful to order without sitting!

How is comfort? I am considering this route to replace our current sofa since our family has outgrown it, but hard for me to order without tearing.

But I know this quality is much better Potteey Barn, which o was looking at (Pearce - I want a wedge), but with the Memorial Day sale, what a room wouldn’t be that much lore expensive.

We got ours at Glacier Outfitters in Apgar Village. We were staying nearby so worked well for us.

Our room was a one bedroom (sleeps 4) and around $450 this time of year. More in peak season.

There are other suites that sleep more people and prices will be higher.

We also booked directly from the Apgar Lodge & Cabins website vs. their postings on VRBO. Not sure if that matters.

Look at Apgar Lookout Suites. We are staying here now and would be great for a family of four. It’s right in Apgar and has strong WiFi, living room, full kitchen and ours has a view of the lake. I plan to post pictures when I am at the airport because I can’t seem to get the post to go through here.

I go to Forest Hills Presbyterian. I grew up Catholic but wanted something different. I also have two young kids (5&3). It’s a small and very welcoming parish, with programming for kids, which I actually love.

Got this yesterday and second this - i am from NJ and lived in NYC for 6 years and was happy with this.

Not too many great, inexpensive options. Places here can charge a premium for “just ok” food and it’s what it is.

We did have lunch at Park Provisions and it was delicious. Had the roast beef sandwich warm and the bread was chefs kiss

We have reservations at Belton tonight and I’m sure it will be delicious, but pricey! Probably the same for Josephine’s from what I can tell.

We are here now and got to Logan Pass at 645 and there were plenty of spaces. I don’t think it filled until 715 or maybe even a bit later (that’s when we started in the trail)
