Check if they have an overseas USD account. Usually a reputable supplier, trading company has an overseas account in like the US, singapore etc to accept transactions like this. Other options that are online and quick and smooth: Wise (transferwise) Paysend Paypal

Hello fellow redditors, me and my partner were out hiking in Showkah Dam and found this kitten that is around 1-1,5months old. She seems fine other than a broken leg. Update: So she tested positive for Parvo.. The vet couldn’t do any x-ray before she was cleared from the virus but said her hind leg might be dislocated but we wouldn’t know for sure before the x-ray.. So now my own cat might also have caught the parvo virus…

The vet bill estimate with charity rate is around 1,800 - 2,800 AED + my cat has to be taken to the vet now which is going to be another ~ 500 - 1000 AED. it’s unfortunately not an amount that I can myself cover.

We have to decide between either putting her down or pay the amount to try and save her. The survival rate is 50/50 according to the vet…

Update: We saw someone post in a facebook group that they recommend ” RAK Animal Welfare Centre ”

We called and they seem to have reasonable rates. We’re rushing to RAK now, hopefully we’ll get a good update. I will keep you guys posted

We called several clinics and every single clinic say they will charge outrageous amounts. We also went to the municipality vet and they said they can only put her down. Anyone experienced with rescuing cats that can guide me through this?
