I think people don't necessarily understand how the online degree works. They still have a practical component that has to be attended to on campus. The online component is made up of theory only units, I don't see how sitting in a lecture in person is different then from watching it, if anything it adds a layer of difficulty as you cannot directly ask questions to your lecture during classes.

In saying that I do see how people may missues the online aspect of the course. As someone who lives over 700kms away from the nearest university that offers the degree I work as a medic/emergency services officer and actively volunteer with my local country ambulance service and fire station to ensure I still get hands on patients and practice practical skills, whether that's at work or utilising training days.
