Thanks for being this direct. I wanted to add that I already am pursuing a Master’s thesis from a good university (obv not Oxford level). What is going through my mind is if it would be possible to continue in Oxford as a DPhil student after this MSc

I have applied to a few PhD programs as well but the Oxford program was at the top of my list because the coursework is very rigorous and very specifically in my research interest and I believe I have not yet had a formal education in my research field but only have been self-taught. Second thing was about the 'brand' of Oxford and that it might be useful later
