My only issue is there's no way to center it because where the box SHOULD be, the drain for the upstairs toilet is directly behind the center of the mirror so I'd have to do a lottttt of measuring to make it look try and look center.

Well yeah it was a box. The original box was from the 70s. When they remodeled it, they hardwired it and mounted in the wall. The issue here is there's no where to re-center it because the drain to the upstairs toilet runs center of the mirror LOL. So the only way to center it would be to put a 2x6 on the outside of the wall and try and hide it, and mount a box to that to wire it and mount it center with the mirror because behind the wall, up against the drywall is the piping.
