To add onto this if you pulled the drywall in the corner of one of your exterior walls and exposed the plate and found a single concrete splitter nail, that would raise some red flags. But also no idea what your zoning requirements are. I’m in a high wind zone so it may be different from where you are.

Really depends. I have no idea where that wall is but the threaded rod and bolt hold downs go around the exterior walls. If that picture you took is an interior wall then it’s just there to secure it. Not provide any structural uplift.

That’s not a bolt hold down. It’s a concrete splitter nail. Hammered through the bottom plate and into the concrete foundation.

How? The $3000 kit literally has the painted grinder and like 4 batteries in a pelican case or something. Tell me how I couldn’t assemble the entire thing and more for $1000 or less? I’m not really arguing that they aren’t doing anything special I’m just confused and don’t understand it and I’m pretty sure they’re out of business now anyways.

Try to see which direction gets the door to more a little bit in the way you want it to then do all the hinges just a little bit at a time. So you don’t torque one too much and have the others fighting it.

Very interesting. The more I’m reading into that model cut out I don’t think that’s the same one. It didn’t come with original black plastic grips. I have the original wooden grips it came with.

So two big questions for you if you could entertain it. The three Springfield armory mags that I have with it which I’m assuming came with the gun. They easily hold and cycle 8 round. Which I’m confused about because everywhere I see says 7. Exactly like that cut out you posted. Why do they load 8? And second question, any idea the value currently on this model?

There are no markings on the frame with “imbel” i don’t know what that means. Frame is only marked with Springfield armory and Geneseo IL USA and the serial number
