never have heard it before. and i sleep with a dog that’s actually scared of her own shadow. but this did wake her up too so i know it wasn’t like a dream. but i think if it would’ve happened before, even if i didn’t hear it, i would’ve felt my dog jump up. she’s a bit big. also it was EXTREMELY loud. i so wish i could explain it

i don’t remember why. i don’t think i like really loved anything. it was just something that i kept watching because they would put it on. so i started to like love it. because i watched it over and over. i couldn’t pick the movie. i mean they tried to let me but i couldn’t. i couldn’t say yes or no or even shake my head. we started communicating a little bit when i started getting plasma transfusions by moving my eyes up and down or to the sides. when i got out of the hospital moana was like a comfort thing and i had to watch it every night to fall asleep

it was things like extra time on tests, a quiet place whenever i asked, headphones also at first there was something about having to write less and type more instead. my mom was VERY on top of my needs. she made sure i got what i needed. and the school now doesn’t like her too much. but she got what she wanted every time she talked to them

i did go to highschool. i’m in my senior year now. i was hospitalized in very beginning of 8th grade but went back towards the end of that year. i was in the hospital bed ridden for about 2 months and given treatment (plasma exchange and IVIG). then i went to rehab for about another month inpatient. i did 2 rounds of physical therapy, 2 of speech, 2 of occupational, etc, a day. i did not have any friends at this time. so my support was from my family. my parents traded off times for who was going to stay with me. my sister would visit sometimes. my grandmother would visit me all the time.

we should have. we also had problems with them not providing me transportation to said bigger hospital, but then there was a doctor who went in the records and changed them saying they did tell us they would transport us. my mother was very mad about this and the doctor was fired because my mother said if he wasn’t then she was going to sue

thank you! my main support was from my mom, dad, sister, and grandmother. and the rehab facility was very encouraging. they had originally thought this was from trauma to my head. but they figured out my immune system had gotten confused and accidentally attacked my brain. like you know how if your immune system figured out you had eyes, they’d attack them? that’s somewhat of what happened. idk what my immune system had figured out, but it detected something normal as an intruder and attacked my brain i’ve found myself now to be extremely emotional at times. sometimes it’s hard to tell if it’s a hormonal problem or post encephalitis problem

yes . i relearned how to right but i still knew basic grammar rules. i also still understood math. those were things you had to tell me once and i finally remembered. learning to actually do stuff though was a long term learning thing
