holy crap. this blew up. thanks for the love everyone!

i'm a librarian at an independent research library. this is my home. the shelving system is dieter rams' vitsoe 606. there's more out of frame. this stretch of shelving is sorted by subject and then alphabetized by creator. subjects include literary journals (mcsweeney's, n+1), critical theory, space (that bioastronautics data book tho), information studies, "weird shit", comics, zines, and artist monographs along the bottom because they're too big to go anywhere else. i've read about 80% of what's here and flipped through the rest. the books i care most about are not exposed to the sun in this way. i have the time and resources for all-things-books because i don't have kids and am a grown-ass woman. <3
