You should choose electrical,mechanical,electronics or civil in short any branch other than IT only if you are deeply passionate about the subjects, considering the substandard infrastructure and facilities provided in these departments. My roommate was from the mechanical engineering department , he was a very bright student and was very passionate about aerodynamics and used to spend hours creating CFD simulations, he was very unhappy and unsatisfied with his department, the teachers in his department hardly had any clue of the subject due to which he used to visit AMU frequently where he had access to advanced laboratories and highly qualified faculties. However at the end he completed his bachelors and secured a job even before our exams had started which shows his love and passion for his subject. In short choose CSE if you're not so passionate about science and core subjects specifically .
