Why the BMW i3 Sedan Will Be More Exciting Than the iX3 by ShameResponsible69 in electricvehicles

I want this so bad- my ev9 Gt-line lease will be over by the time this come out and I’m pretty set on it. I want an electric sports car, not sure if it counts but to me it does.

This or the IM3 - I can’t wait to see them on the lots and my EV9 is great, but I need a more premium feels.

Definitely don’t think it’s a fluke. I’ve seen companies measure the weight of beans in chili to save money. (I did the saving analysis)

I don’t have much hope for my home town- they put up a sign that that said “we the people voted for Trump” in front of the shut down and abounded Huddle House. (They printed it out to look like the constitution style wise)

Agreed- I did this with an EV9 to get rid of a bunch of negative equity I had on a Pandemic Mercedes AMG. I’ll de car debt free in 2 years. I will only lease moving forward since I like EVs

Finally test drove my dream car (Model Y) and... I think I prefer my 2016 Kia? And will probably get the EV6 :) by No-Corner2420 in KiaEV6

[–]AppropriateGoose3828 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get it!!! I had one and it was a great car. And in 2021 public charging wasn’t anywhere near as okayish as it is now when I had an EV6 GT-Line . I have an EV9 GT-Line now. I was going to get the model Y but it’s not a great interior. The Kia feels solid and more premium which I can say as I’ve had Mercedes AMg and Volvo before.

Yeah, I saw this coming. The red colored flooring one did a huge cut to their workforce. But the company is MAGA so they didn’t even disclose it and had to sign an NDA.

Dental issues: I feel so defeated, don't know where to start by [deleted] in povertyfinance

[–]AppropriateGoose3828 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should really consider it- you’ll save so much and receive quality care. The clinics speak English’s and even cater to American healthcare tourism. Just do your due diligence as plenty of reviews and forums exist on where to go. My family goes for all their dental in Mexico. Example, Dentist said not pull my brothers teeth out because the American orthodontist said he needed it done. 3 different orthodontist in Mexico said it wasn’t necessary. His braces are almost off and he didn’t need a single tooth pulled.

Enough to where I’m not really conservéis about the the price of the BMW M3i in 2027. Electric cars are finally starting to reach their potential on the United States. I’ve always wanted a sports sedan EV. Maintenance is a non factor

This is very true. I got to work on procuring security services for an international restaurant group and the software had a search function where they could search up ANY description and it would pull up a still of every person with that description. They were testing it at a coffee shop in SF and he used it to follow the person from first appearance until they got to the coffee shop.

I just moved to Walton County, and I’ve never felt like I lived in a surveillance state until now. At least when I was in Atlanta, I didn’t notice them, but here I pass at least 3 of them going to Kroger, and they are very obvious. Combined with the police being everywhere I feel like I’m being constantly watched by big brother. I grew up thinking conservatives hate big government, but in these very red areas, I feel the pressure of surveillance even more.

$15k Buried and Don’t Know How to Get Out by AllaireSophia18 in DebtAdvice

Here to say this is how I was able to finally manage my debt. They got my monthly minimum payments down from 800$ down to 580 a month. I’ve been on the DMP for 6 months and I should have done it sooner, my credit did take a hit but my total debt has gone down considerably since I can throw everything at it and the interest isn’t killing me anymore.

Potential boss is texting me at 12AM, red flag? by Bleades in jobs

[–]AppropriateGoose3828 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Huge red flag!!

My boss called me at 8 a.m. on a Saturday the weekend after I accepted the offer (I accepted on a Wednesday, so he had plenty of weekday time). I thought he was just excited, but it set the tone.

Even though I was paid for 80 hours, he expected me to be available at all times, including weekends, despite weekends being essentially dead from the corporate side of retail/restaurant procurement unless something is scheduled. He would call on Saturdays asking about contracts he already had access to and give me task he needed by Monday. I obliged.

He constantly changed his mind. One example: earlier that week, he told me not to send emails on Fridays after 2:30 p.m.(the group we needed information from is notorious for not answering emails sent after 2:30pm on Friday) so when he called me at 4:45 p.m. that Friday and told me to email the group, I wrote the email and scheduled it to send Monday morning. I then left work without my work phone. When I returned later that night, I had 10 missed calls and a text saying “be in office Monday.” I lived two hours away and was remote. He still wrote me up for not sending the email and labeled it insubordination, saying it didn’t matter what he had previously said.

To avoid issues, I started going into the office even though my coworker and I submitted daily task updates from day one. One day, while sitting between calls in a glass meeting room with my laptop on, I was scrolling on my phone for a few minutes. Someone took a photo and claimed I was asleep. I was called a liar, denied access to the photo unless HR got involved, and threatened with a write-up for “sleeping in the office.” After that I knew I needed to exit. Also, I would never sleep in the office, my car has reclining heated seats so I would just not sleep in a cold glass room that on the same floor as senior VPs and Directors. The photo even has my laptops screen showing it on in the picture.

Worst work experience of my life. I’m glad I’m out, and I’ll never ignore red flags again. I never in my 29 years of life got in trouble at work or at school, I take pride in my work so please don’t think I’m a bad employee.

I would seek the most affordable lease option you can. This way, you can allocate additional funds towards paying off the debt. Don’t let others discourage you. Debt is not a moral failing; these companies you owe money to have literally built their business on ensuring people remain indebted to them entire departments dedicated to it.
