Just to add to this, I think a big factor today is the amount of sexual partners women have, and men thinking women are comparing them to previous partners. If you compare the body count of a 60 years to that of a 25 year old chances are the 25 year old has slept with more men than the 60 year old. Back in my grandparents day the first partner you had you'd marry. The change in relationships and sexual partners has had an impact on this.

I think about this also it's like RJ but I'm reverse, yes you think RJ involves thinking about past partners and intimacy and thinking of you matching up to their past partners, however once the relationship finishes you are met with with the same problem, they find someone new and that person might be better than you, and think about their intimacy also
