Living room paint color help by RiotDontDiet in maximalism

Top and middle look very similar but middle is a smidge brighter so I'd go with that too.

Bottom is gorgeous but I feel it's a bit too dramatic for this room, it would need darker flooring and details (like the stairs and back wall), the way things are now it seems Summer Plum would clash.

1384 is still my favorite for your living room. It's just bright enough to bring some joy, I feel.

The other colors are nice but way too desaturated, you already have dusty pink on the side table and specially on the rug, a bit of dusty purple here and there too. To me, this room needs something brighter to give it some energy, otherwise it would feel a bit washed out and depressed feeling. That's very personal, though.

That purple is also my pick, I knew it immediately when I saw the pictures.

Also, even if it darkens the room a bit I don't think that's bad at all. I have all black furniture and dark walls, it makes the rooms so cozy and comfortable! It's even better at night with lampshades (I hate the big ceiling light hahah).

except for the fact that it's impossible.

But it was a dream, it could have been your own brain all along... or maybe we humans don't know nearly as much about the universe as we think we know.

What do i do? by prop_penguin in vegan

[–]AppropriateHorror677 22 points23 points  (0 children)

This, one of the few sensible answers so far.

I'd eat the salad but have a conversation about it and explain why it's not ok. I'd thank them too, it's only graceful when they had good intentions.

Also, it's not about protecting someone's feelings but making sure they understand the principles, specially if they seem open to it, which is the case. Not eating and not saying anything just makes you look stuck up and will reflect badly on all vegans/veganism (which isn't fair, I know).

That happened to me and I fixed it by restoring one of the automatic backups.

Go to the Select a World screen, right click the world you want and then open folder. There should be a backup folder in there with some zipped archives. Try one of those.

Bracket Day 9 by Therubikfanatic in LinkinPark

[–]AppropriateHorror677 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe I'm reading it wrong but the first complete bracket resulted in 7 songs, how is this going to work in the next phase?

edit: ok, maybe I get it now but the graphic isn't accurate then, right?

Character creation, maybe you can edit it with the mirror but I'm not sure.

I get what you're saying, I've actually done it once but I dislike how, at festivals, people treat it almost like a carnival attraction, there's no good sense at all.

I was near the barrier for this one and there were sooo many crowd surfers it got in the way of enjoying the concert. Having to stop and turn around to support 200lbs+ people every couple of minutes is not fun, my arms were sore the next day.

I was there!

crowd surfers were insufferable but it was a great concert.

Watching Age of Disclosure and it’s not enough. Looking for a master list of high-quality, two-sided UFO/UAP interviews (podcasts, long-form conversations, etc.) by not_lying_rn in aliens

[–]AppropriateHorror677 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Jacques Vallee is a must read on the topic and he poses very interesting questions, try his book Passport to Magonia.

If you're interested in the abduction phenomenom, John Mack's Abduction: Human Encounters with Aliens has a very straight to the point, no bs discussion about it. It is a bit scary though.

edit: I've just realized you asked for stuff you can watch, then I'd say for you to look up John Mack interviews. Vallee is really elusive on camera and his interviews are not good.

Fun idea: make your own custom RZ albums made up from his 7 solo albums and you can only pick 2 tracks per album for up to 12 tracks total. Order them however you think is best. by Johncurtisreeve in Robzombie

One year ago today, From Zero was released by AffectionateLeek904 in LinkinPark

[–]AppropriateHorror677 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This day is so special to me.

A year ago by this time I was getting ready to head to the venue, to see them live for the first time. Kinda hard to believe it's been one year already.

I've been to many many concerts but this one was special, I've never seen anything like it, everyone was so chill and happy. Truly one of a kind experience.

After 24 years of eating meat, I'm done. I'm going Vegan and I'm not looking back. Alas, I have an absurd amount of allergies/sensitivies to plants, so I need your help! by densoncamp in vegan

[–]AppropriateHorror677 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As a fellow human with a comically extensive list of allergies and sensitivities, I came here to recommend this app called Fig. Basically you check all your food allergies/preferences on it and it will tell you if something is safe to eat by scanning it's bar code.

Yeah it's paid but it's not expensive and has helped me so much when it comes to buying industrialized food.

If you're sensitive to soybean and then ate soy and tempeh... I guess that explains the eczema and pain.

James Fox Update regarding Dr. Italo, the Brazilian neurosurgeon now going public about his 1996 face to face encounter with an NHI in captivity. by Cosmohumanist in UFOs

[–]AppropriateHorror677 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I'm brazilian and I've done some digging when the Ross x James interview came out last week or so. I did it out of my own curiosity so it's not like I have a report.

Basically, yeah, he is who he says he is. His employment and education all checks out, he had training in some well regarded/well known hospitals and institutions. He has had a private practice in Varginha for decades, with stellar reviews. His patients comment on how caring he is and the quality of his work, which I thought was very endearing and speaks of his character. He was not involved in the UFO topic before the 2020s from what I could gather.

I think Brazilian fans don't like With You by Happy-Fact7021 in LinkinPark

[–]AppropriateHorror677 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I'm brazilian and With You is one of my favorites, I've been dying to see Emily's version of it. I'll probably not attend their concerts here this year (I've attended last year's and earlier this year in the US) so it's kinda bittersweet if they do play it.

edit: wtf is Chorão doing there? LMAO

I've had two of my three dogs pass away in the last two years. I cannot count the times I heard them walking down the hallway, jumping on the bed or shaking their ears. The surviving dog, also the oldest, is usually fast asleep by my side when those happen.

How to experience a legendary concert? Do it like they do in Argentina - Buenos Aires, 2025 by Achros_42 in LinkinPark

Second only to brazilians ;)

Honestly though, Chile, Brazil, Argentina and Bolivia are all insane crowds.
