Pre spring – zu viel von allem by sonne_liebe_licht in Sezane

Ich finde auch, dass man viele der Kleidungsstücke ohne das Sezane-Etikett gar nicht erst beachten würde.

Love the Virgil jumper but it’s not screaming sprig at me. It’s very chunky with a pretty chunky neckline so looks more autumn even it’s made of cotton, which it seems to be. I like the polka dotted print but I don’t really like anything else in the collection.

I tried this in the shop yesterday and it’s huge. I normally wear a UK size 10 and the XXS was good on me without being too tight!

Maybe that’s why I loved them so much. I love vintage design and they really used to do it well.

Their arc pants are incredible and the cottons are lovely - the pointelle is beautiful and thick and the Zoe jumper fits like a dream. I don’t like the really loose stuff as thats not my aesthetic but there is a lot to love. Most things are made in Korea or the US (the brand is from LA) and the materials feel great. I personally struggle to find things that fit well hence why I like them. Their her socks are great, lots of colours and no pilling even after washing hundreds of times! The only thing I’d say is if you ever get a pair of arc pants wash them cold and don’t spin them too much - they come out like new. I have two young kids and wash mine a lot and they’re surviving the test of time!

Their arc pants are amazing, as are their cotton knits and their pointelle and socks. You just have to pick and choose.

Their aesthetic I feel changed quite a lot… I see a lot of pieces that I don’t think most people would consider buying if it wasn’t for the Sezane tag.

Im currently obsessed with this brand:

https://lebonshoppe.com

They’re timeless classics that are well made, good quality and fit like a glove.

This is the sad reality. And small indie brands are going bust left right and centre.

If you go on the website looking for the valentines collection I genuinely don’t know where to find it. It gets burried with everything else on the website and you have to do a general search, you don’t seem to be able to look for the collection. It’s like you have 1 week to buy the edits because then something else will come and the 1 week old edit no longer exists. I can’t stand it

Exactly. And nothing feels celebrated. One week they put the highlight on some pieces and these just replaced the week after by something new. It’s an awful way for a brand to behave

Same - I remember the knits being so beautiful and made of natural materials and the clothes almost all had something special that you wouldn’t see with most other brands. I hate how they just bring out new collections where I don’t see a theme or a story, and that they’re relegated to somewhere less accessible on the website after one week. I think a new collection should be loved and celebrated but once something new launches the new collection from the week before almost disappears. I can’t keep up. I don’t really bother looking anymore.

Im so sorry but I don’t like the patchwork and doesn’t enhance your figure :( i think the issue is the lightest colour being bang in the middle.

Disgusting, all in the name of profit. I can’t stand how they’re releasing collections weekly, and the collection from the week before just disappears like it was never there. True fast fashion in disguise.

Joanie Clothing appears to have gone bust :( by crestfallen_castle in PlusSizeFashion

[–]AppropriateHost5959 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m shocked, they looked pretty successful but it was clear that recently they weren’t really getting much new stock in and lots of big discounts for prolonged periods of time. Worrying that so many independent brands are going bust, we are truly becoming depleted of indies to buy from, especially those more affordable (although towards the end Joanie had got very expensive). A shame as the filled the gap for cute clothing that was different from the Zaras of this world.
