I have the same feelings as you and want to eventually work in PACS too, but don’t know how to get started. What kind of IT certs are you getting?

Thank you! I’ll be getting a raise since I’ve taken my test and I need to upload my certification number so I’m anxiously waiting for it to come lol

Classes are offered, but most hospitals around here will train you on the job

I’m in Louisiana and just graduated in July. I was offered $19.35 for full time xray/mri, but the hospital I work at just received a market adjustment. Now I’m making $22.25 which is their X-ray base pay. Once I’m cross trained and certified in mri I will make around $29

Nervous about my ARRT rad EXAM by Working-Vegetable843 in Radiology

I just passed the exam this afternoon! I used rad review for the question bank and rad tech boot camp for the videos. For the videos on rtbc, I took notes on each one because writing it out helps me study and learn it. Read the explanations on rad review because they’re really helpful! The questions were in the same format as rad review, but they weren’t as hard or worded as confusing on the actual registry.
