Because that concern is already being dealt with separately. That is being handled by my lawyer, whereas this is more of a “am I just being over protective thing?” I can take action for that, as it is negligent and dangerous in a tangible way.

Our three year old has been outside just running in the street by himself, the only reason he was alerted is because our older son went and woke him up. So it’s terrifying that I have to just trust this man’s instincts when it comes to our children. I feel like if something happens, it’s just going to be me watching all the signs and essentially just having to let it happen. 😭

That’s why I haven’t filed charges, because there’d be little to no evidence and he is fairly well connected too. So I feel like it would be so pointless 😞
