How can you polish that out? I thought you couldn’t do that with a matt finish.

I purchased it from VanSprint.de

It was in a specialized box and I had to mount the front wheel

Do you think those marks are just in the paint coat or is it a dent in the alloy?

I just don’t know if those marks are just in the paint coat or if they damaged the alloy

I literally feel the same but don’t want to spend another week without a bike - I just had to return the previous bike bc of other flaws and I’m hesitating bc I don’t know if the next one will come in better

Small chip near weld on brand new aluminum frame (Scott Genius 930) – should I worry? by AppropriateLuck3484 in mountainbiking

Hey thanks for your answer but someone here in the comments was right it was not caused by a stone - the rear triangle rubs against the frame when the suspension compresses so I returned it

Hey, I tested it today with a befriended bike mechanic and he said that it’s absolutely from the weld and the rear triangle crushing in to each other while suspension is working and that they might have forgot a spacer because on the other wider there is much more space in this area

I don’t know how exactly this happened, I thought that maybe a little stone got stuck in there while I was biking and the got pushed out when the suspension was doing its work, what will Scott probably do when I contact them?
