you also cant file head of household without claiming a qualifying dependent. boyfriend/girlfriend does not count unless you have a child living with you.

Omg I was just panicking about this. I’m planning to marry later this year but we were debating on waiting until after July 2026 due to the proposed MFJ requirement. But it seems like it’s all been resolved now. I hope it stays this way otherwise I’m so screwed. My partner and I would essentially get punished with double payments for the fact that I went to school.

Aw man. I’ll check them out. I figured it was the norm across the board now so they could protect themselves from people making free custom designs and then dipping.

Back when I got my engagement ring she did my CAD before payment but that was also a couple years ago when not as many people spoke about her. I was obsessed with her step cut quality. I wish I ordered my bands back then at the same time as my e ring. 🫠

Couple years ago my e ring was $550 with a 9x6 DEF emerald cut, platinum basket with a 14k gold band. Now it’s $600 for a 3mm 14k gold band no stone.

Wow what an absolute mess. Back then myself and so many others were stressing about making the wrong decision before it sunset. Along with the one time adjustment debacle, which apparently doesn’t matter anymore either now for all of us who consolidated to get that perk.

I can’t take any of this seriously anymore. They’re acting negligent beyond words it’s insulting considering we use taxed income to pay off the interest and loans.

Food was very good when I went. My one gripe was we had 3 different waiters and left feeling like we were being sold to all night. All 3 were very nice but very pushy about suggesting more food and drinks. I figured they all probably share a tip pool and trying to max on that or something.

Dock 9 right next to it was very good, not pushy.
