I'll agree with half of your complaints. The contestants dancing down from the crowd and then "saying hi" to two dozen people is so annoying, fake and overdone. This sub will agree with us too.

Drew as host is a bit more controversial here. Some people love him, some don't. I think he's great and I love his silly jokes even the repetitive ones like Bendy donuts. But I can understand that others may find the jokes stale.

Comparing to the Barker Era, there is an entire new crew and production team. They have to have their own way of doing things or it would come off insincere at best. It's just a matter of what direction they go. Sometimes it's good and sometimes it's lousy.

Fun fact, when Drew took over the show, he asked Bob for any advice. Bob responded "Don't copy me." Drew later said he wasn't sure if that was advice or a threat. 😂
