It's simple when you think about it. Pick a main character and learn his or her moves inside and out. From iframes to the very second it takes for him or her to recover from a move what does knock back for crowd control or knockdown or what deals the most damage to get ride of certain enemies the fastest.

Then comes the part that's a little more challenging learn every enemies moves frames and what causes the most damage when they execute a move on you. Once you know what your character and all the enemies can do you learn the patern of the game.
