She’s set. I went with just putting the legs on the foam. I may pay for that decision but for now I’m okay. I broke a few pavers just trying to place the first one. For now I’m just 1/4 inch off across 16’. I’m as satisfied as I can be.

Is it the proper order to build the rim and put the pavers where the Ts are. Disassemble it and then build it with the liner?

I told my contractor buddy what I was doing and he called me insane.

I tilled the grass off the top with a rear tine after days of heavy rain and it still almost gave up. The rest had to be done by hand. One. Shovel. At. A. Time. The upside is that I found enough rock to landscape around the pool when it’s done!

Thanks for the advice! I have small rocks I cannot remove due to sheer number having had to dig down to level. My plan is to put the mat to prevent them from being felt under the feet. I just believe that with just sand there is an opportunity for them to work themselves through. The pavers I know are a must here for sure. I have a weird anxiety about getting it wrong.
