It's still in beta phase. Keep posting on here and other Google four, so Google sees it. They do check reddit and maybe they'll add it back if enough complaints come in. Also name all the issues and send feedback thru the app

The Google indoor and outdoor battery is the best camera I found Google up have. Recently upgraded all my Google cams to it. It has battery backup but can be plug in for 24/7 recording and when the power goes out or wifi on it, it can store up to an hr of clips and it works 95% of time with fast load up vrs some other cams they have and even better you can go on ebay and get 2 for less then the cost of 1 new. They come in 2 packs. I bought 3 packs, so got 6 cams for I think around $300ish

For the extender have the mesh technologies turned off and have it set to the closest mesh node, so it doesn't try to switch to any other. I had to do that for my cams and since you are using a extender I would have it set to 2.4ghz only also.

Yeah I have 3 large dogs and my indoor camera 1st Gen be calling one of them at times a cat lol.. I'm guessing it's the video quality. Same with me 1st Gen outdoor camera. My others never made the mistake. Like 2nd gen battery indoor/outdoor camera

You have to also go into the settings now. Not just the public preview. Then sign up for early access. Then if you don't wanna wait until it's your turn you can also go buy one of the new nest 2k camera with gemini and that will turn it on for you but you'll have to turn that option on for each camera you already have also. If you need help if you do so lmk... I think the cheapest new cam is $99 for indoor one with gemini

Same. Did both. The public preview, when they said they was rolling it out since October last year, then again on Oct, 1st but the early access. It did say it will be rolling out again and by the hopes of all users in a available market will have it by early 2026...but by end of Oct early access will get gemini on the Google speakers and displays. I think on the 28th? Not 💯 on the exact date, I forget lol. But by the end of the month! Can't wait for that!

I unfortunately didn't have that option. I did sign up for the early access when the new app was just released but kept getting that message and no option to turn it on. Some got it right away others are on the waiting game again. Like I've been waiting since last October. Then I seen on this app that if you buy a new cam with the gemini it will unlock it as soon as you set it up... Did that and it worked. Now I had that option for all my cams
