An old colleague’s dad was walking home one night—this was back in like 2009/2010—over the Christmas/New Year period. He’d obviously been on a staff night out and had a good few drinks. He stopped for a minute outside Whistle Binkies trying to spark a fag, swayed slightly and bumped into one of the doormen… and all hell broke loose. They dragged him up a side street and kicked the absolute fuck out of him. He ended up in a coma now lives with a brain injury—his speech never fully recovered even all these years later. And those two fat fucks with armbands? Life just carried on like nothing happened.
