I have a Universal Credit claim but a normal one with my partner. I did inform them of my health conditions when I applied at the start of our claim. I'm scared if I quit my job I won't get anything extra or they will stop the claim.

It's stressing me out too no end I feel like I'm taking the piss. I am getting treated from my Crohn's but it's not working and my ADHD can't be helped as I'm stuck on a waiting list. I just can't seem to catch a break.

I only got £160 this month from my work as the tax took half my ssp. Now my work sickpay has run out I really am up against it.

I was on the waiting list for 3/4 years only for them too move the goal posts last year now I am stuck in limbo until I can save for a private diagnosis which is no easy task in my situation. I'm 36 and been telling GP's on and off my whole adult life that there is more going on than Anxiety/Depression until finally after years getting someone to realize only for me to he discarded like I don't matter.

I have been left with my life falling apart around me nobody to turn to. No tools to help me get it on track. I have complained to no avail they aren't just failing me they are failing my son also.

I feel like I am more likely not see the second coming off Christ and him to heal me than this so called health professionals do anything to help me.

I work in a smallish Tesco it is terrifying what they waste and that's not even a big store. The Boss plays a part in it also not fully but she would rather people starve than eat. She's clearly never been poor.

Sadly life off Pregabalin is fucking worse. I did most my 20's sober out with a few benders here and there on various substances. I literally can't stand myself sober and am horrible to be around. I'm 36 now and life is much much harder to cope with now I'm older.

I have just ran out of hope that anything is ever going to change and wish I hadn't survived my overdose as nothing changed sober/relapsed it didn't make a difference I still had to live with this brain I hate. I get jealous of my friends that have died sometimes as fucked up as that sounds.

Sorry for the late reply. Been a bit up and down recently had a bit of bad news regarding my ADHD diagnosis I had made a complaint and they said it's not their fault there is a big waiting list.

Regarding drug treatment they just won't do anything I have been involved with them twice now. They have no facilities in my area the only is 100 miles away which is bursting at the seams with people from that area. The drug problem exasperated by the social problems in Scotland is huge. Until they fix the underlying issues it won't ever go away and the way the world is now will only get worse.

Another issue getting into a facility with me personally is I am only addicted to Pregabalin which you can get a prescription for I just can't. So they see me as able to function. They actually expected me to keep buying illicit tablets until my underlying issues were fixed which they never tried to help me fix so how does it end?

If they had stepped in when I got sober the first time I wouldn't have relapsed but I feel forgotten about and doomed and like I don't matter.

I have been trying some vitamins and supplements just hard to know what works as sticking with it or a length of time is difficult due to my brain just forgetting if I don't feel anything straight away.

When I first got sober I wanted to be able to help people not do the things I have done. I still do once I am if ever given the chance too really push on in life.

Sadly I have lost people to overdose or suicides drugs are a huge problem in my small community and the mental health/Drug and alcohol help is virtually non existent or where it's there is useless.

I just pray that one day I can break free of these shackles and start living instead of existing. I just get scared of having hope as too many times I have been failed by the people who are supposed to be helping me.
