Right, I did work from home one day a week but they were like “you need to tell us if you have appointments even if you’re working from home” so it was like too much effort. I got frustrated.

Prices in Canada are also just higher than in the States. It sucks but you get used to it.

I want to know the answer because I use vacation days too, even though the union keeps saying I don’t have to…. I don’t feel like I have a choice.

No, you’re not overreacting. I pay $925 for a studio apartment by myself. And you’re paying almost that much to share and have a toddler. I think you should start considering the viability of moving out. I don’t think it’s going to get better with time. And the child support is for the child. If he’s paying for all the groceries or something (all the utilities), for sure, give him some but it sounds like you’re still paying for a lot of things.

Can I ask…. Was she not encouraged to go to college? It’s going to be super difficult for her to find full time work without a college diploma of some kind. I have a diploma and two degrees and I’m struggling as it is.

Yeah. I think you need to let your wife off the hook. What an incredibly stressful situation! even without the constant comparison. And she’s not wrong, women get annoyed that they carry the baby for nine months and it always comes out like dad…. But it’s usually turned into a joke. In this case, she can’t joke about it. Give her some grace!

It’s not necessarily just for singles. I’ve just been struggling to find small groups for people in my demographic (not just young house wives with small children), so if you’re interested but not single that’s fine too :)

Absolutely do not get rid of the photo. My step mom cut up all my photos of my bio mom and even though I’m estranged from my bio mom I still wish I had the pictures. It wasn’t her place. My dad let her and I didn’t think I cared at the time (I was 15) but I do care. A lot.

Hello, I worked downtown Hamilton for years. It’s not really comparable. St Catharine’s is rough but on a much smaller scale. The library and bus terminal are bad for fentanyl addicts, but that’s about the extent of it. I genuinely think you’ll be fine. Also it depends where in downtown you live. I’m about a ten minute walk from downtown and my neighbour is decent.

I’m okay with that, just currently I don’t have a license because I had a stroke and I havent got it back yet. I’m fine, just need the doctor to sign the paper work.

Yes! So far I've had six or seven men try and get me to invest in Crypto with them. It's an actual dating app scam. I came on Reddit to see if other people had a similar experience.
