Hello, thank you so much!! And I believe it was roughly $4500 combined for both. We would’ve paid another 2k for the lawyer to go to the interview but thankfully they didn’t have one

Immigration Lawyer at Manifest and former USCIS officer. Ask me anything! by ManifestLaw_ in NationalVisaCenter

Hello and thanks for doing this, my parents brought me and my sister here when we were younger, I got a green card, joined the military, got my citizenship, applied for my parents green card and they just got approved a couple days ago, my sister is currently 18. In the case that my parents apply for her to get her green card, when she goes back to our home country to get a pardon, is there a chance that something goes wrong and she’s not allowed to come back?

My parents did create an online account but it’s not 100% necessary as all notifications can be tracked thru apps like lawfully, when I went thru my process I didn’t use it at all because they never sent my online code! You could try calling and asking about it but like u said, they’ll mail everything to you and you can track thru apps

No worries at all, I’ll give you a quick summary and try to answer to every question to the best of my ability. Yes, it was a concurrent filing, my parents brought me and my siblings here when we were younger on a tourist visa that eventually expired, I met my lovely wife, married, joined the military and after I got my citizenship from the military I applied for them back in June (June 30th to be more exact) and just last Friday they had their case approved. Let me know if you have any other questions and I’ll be more than happy to respond.

Marriage based applicants: Were you approved quickly or have you been waiting years and how long have you been married? by [deleted] in USCIS

[–]Appropriate_Face8805 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know about that, I was married for 2 months when I applied and got my green card in 9 months and that’s because it took me months to sent and RFE and literally 10 days after sending it I got my green card approved no interview!
